The following review comes courtsey of Lynn, from Manassas. “Nice…no ships docked, so view of sunset was in full sight. you can check docking schedule or ask your hotel. As you read in other reviews, get their early. some street performers start before sunset but it is hot while you wait in the sun. About 40 minutes before the sunset folks swarming Mallory Square make their way to the edge of the pier for the view. Gets crowded. you can shop and visit bars while waiting. clean area good people all around. paid parking lot available, but pan handlers will beg for money if they catch you in parking lot. The one guy that approached us was mouthy.

This is a review and experience of Rod from DeLand, Florida. “Want to see Manatees… As our Florida temps have been dropping the Manatees come to the Springs in packs. My wife and went early and it was so cool watching them swim up toward the opening of the spring.” Rod continues by saying, “We counted over 300 Manatees, this was so relaxing and pictures couldn’t do it justice. Once they were at the point the water is coming out of the ground they became more playful and it was amazing. I could have watched all day.”

You won’t believe it until you see it!” The they go on, “This is a beautiful beach. It has been high in world rankings for good reason. I was there on a hazy day and it was eerily beautiful. Haze burned off later in the day. Although it was a little chilly, I couldn’t resist a dip in the Gulf. Freshwater outdoor showers to rinse off. Friendly volunteers, decent restrooms. Not very crowded in January.

South Pointe Park

Steve from Miami talks about his visit to South Pointe Park, South Florida.”Not big, but very attractive and user friendly.” Steve goes onto say, “South Pointe Park is not very big, but what it has is great – great views of the beach, the port of Miami, downtown and, of course, the ocean. The design is very creative… great for exercising, riding, taking photos, walking out on the pier, getting a smoothy and having a nice lunch at Smith & Wollensky.
